Technology meets Fashion


For our first post I found an article that I thought might be interesting you. A company called Feetz is 3-D printing shoes and hopes to change how we buy them...

    I think that this article was very interesting because it made shoes from technology. This shows you how much technology has advanced and improved throughout the years. I want to be a marine biologists because I love all animals but I want to focus my career more on sea animals and sea life because there are so many things that I don't know about in the ocean. I think technology will help me understand certain things that have to do with the field I'm going into.

    I believe this is something that's rather interesting to do. I know that you can make almost anything with a 3d printer. I think technology can make a big difference in the world. For example, I want to become a character designer for video games, and eventually learn how to animate. Since technology is already a huge thing in the real world, I think eventually we'll evolve to a virtual reality game in a couple of years.

    I think that the idea of having a 3D printer print out shoes is rather interesting yet kind of weird. I like how far technology has come, this just makes whats to come in the future for technology more exciting. I don't know what I would like to do in the future just yet, but I do know technology will play a big part no matter what.

    I feel that the article was very creative. Its crazy how we can start taking the future to a whole new level. I want to be a teacher and I feel that the more technology that is evolving, it will make it so much easier to teach. It will also be so much fun instead of just plain old textbooks.

    Having a 3D printer for shoes and also tee shirts is an amazing idea. It would be easier to customize the shoes right there on our feet. And it would be faster and more efficient for our shoe size. It would be much cheaper and the shipping more flexible for the shoes and tees. I want to be a pediatric cardiologist. Hospitals are thinking of using the 3D printer. It can help us doctors make hearts with all the ventricles and veins for heart transplants. It would be really helpful and fun and it would make me learn more about hi-tech technology

    This article was interesting because it makes me think how in 20 years, 3D printed merchandise will be so common and cheap that these prices will seem insane. I would like to do acting in my future and technology and production of movies,shows,and plays go hand in hand so I think the advancements being made will make everyone jobs,reguardless of their field, much much easier

    Just by reading the title of this article, I find this very interesting and impressive. Technology has been rapidly growing, and in my opinion that’s amazing. To one day be able to own a pair of shoes made by a 3-D printer is phenomenal. However, trying to make a pair of shoes that way might be extremely difficult. But as said in the article, we would be able to use our own imagination and taste in style to create our own personal pair of shoes. I feel being able to use a 3-D printer with clothing would be a huge change in the fashion industry and in the world and I would love to see that happen one day. This article also made me think about greater inventions and possibilities for my future. I aspire to be a home interior decorator because designing and structuring a home is my passion. By reading this article, I feel technology can help me create and build certain pieces of furniture, home accessories, etc., just by using a computer or even one day a 3-D printer.

    I think the way technology is developing to make all of this possible is amazing. As far as I’m concerned, the most interesting part about 3D printers is the possibility that through them people can be what they want to be, without limiting their creativity just because their ideas aren’t realizable. I also think 3D printers can be very useful in medicine, to create both the elements that are needed in surgeries and the ones useful to give dignity to people whose bodies have been defaced because of cars accidents, such as prosthesis.

    Advanced 3D printers would be so helpful and awesome that buying clothes could be so much easier and maybe even more affordable. I believe the article was very interesting and made me wonder about how 3D printers might be so advanced and productive in the future that, what else could also be advancing? Would we finally get cars that fly?

    I think that this article was very interesting. Using technology to make shoes, that's amazing. I like the idea of costuming your shoes on the 3D printer because not everyone will have the same design as you. This reminds me of how technology has change and its going to keep on changing.

    I think the idea of making shoes online and 3D printing them is really interesting. Being able to wear shoes that you designed yourself is just amazing. Its is also great because this one idea that may have sounded weird to other people has turned into an actual creation. This also opens new doors for 3D printing and i think it is fun to think about how normal it will be in the future, and how many more 3D creations will be made.
